I have to admit, when I told people my son was going to be a lobster for Halloween…well, let’s just say the reaction wasn’t great. However, when they saw him in it, they LOVED IT! We got so many comments on how cute it was, and how we just HAD to enter him into a contest because he would surely win! Even burly, grown men had to comment on what a cute lobster we had! Of course, we topped it off with his big sister being The Little Mermaid, so they made a cute pair. If you are looking for something new and out-of-the-ordinary…this is it. It was really comfortable for my 10 month old as well.

i was actually looking for a cute pumpkin costume for my 6mo. old son when i came across this lobster costume. i had to see it on him the second it came in the mail. SOOOOOOO CUTE! i recieved the product in exactly the condition they said it would be in, and the shipping was quick too. Loved it!

This costume is so cute. It is great quality and fits perfectly. I have a 7 month old that is about 20 pounds. I bought a long sleeve red onesie and some red tights to wear under the costume so my baby does not get cold on Halloween. I would recommend this costume, it is adorable!!!

This costume is simply adorable! My son was 4 1/2 months old when he wore this for Halloween this year. He wore a thin red p.j. underneath the lobster costume to complete the look, otherwise his legs and arms would have been bare. It was easy to put on him, and the costume fits similar to a layette. Ribbons on the end of the lobsters arms can be tied onto your babies wrist so when they move their arms, the lobster arms move with them. It wasn’t too heavy of a material, too, so I didn’t have to worry too much about him overheating. The hat was a little big for his head, so it slid around a little. I washed the outfit and it held up just fine. The legs on the outfit itself have a positionable wire inside of them, so you can bend them in any position you like. I would definitely recommend this costume for a baby’s first Halloween!

My son was absolutely adorable in this! I guess it’s a halloween costume so it is made well enough to serve it’s purpose, not for everyday use. I dressed my daughter as a chef (Daddy is a chef) so it was the perfect duo. They were so cute, it almost brought tears to Grandma’s eyes, she couldn’t stop giggling! Adorable costume!

This is a really cute costume. My 18 month old wore it and it fit well and held up to a night of carnival fun. She wore it with a red long sleeve shirt and red leggings.

I bought this costume from In Fashion Kids. I ordered it on a Wednesday around 3pm and received it that Saturday. Very fast shipping. My son is 11 months and about 25lbs. The costume just fits him but that’s fine I expected that. I did order a red onsie sleeper to put under it. This is sleeveless – the lobster arms attach by an elastic band, making this outfit sleeveless. Also, the bottom of the costume doesn’t have a place for legs (it’s elastic at the bottom as well), it’s made like a layette. This is the cutest darn costume!! I haven’t washed it yet but due to the wiring (tenacles), I will wash it by hand. It’s made decent for the money. I would order this again. And I would purchase from In Fashion Kids again.

This costume is adorable! The antennae and legs are wiry and bendable so you can move them in any direction you want but well secured to the costume. It is truly one size fits all as my 4 month old fit just fine in it, and it is stretchy so it will fit a much bigger baby too up to 25 pounds. The fabric is shiny and attractive and had no comfort issues for baby. My 4 month old does kind of have a small head so the headpiece would kind of flop to the side a bit but was easily re-adjusted. The perfect thing for this ensemble would be to get a metal bucket (well padded of course!) to put baby in for a photo op and you could also get a chef hat as an adult costume to complete the look.
One important note: You do need to buy a red coverall underneath it though as it does not come with this costume!
